August 1, 2007 - "From Our Perspective: A National Women's Art Exhibition"
The Women Center of Oakland Community College announces a call to artists for "From Our Perspective: A National Women's Art Exhibition", held September 20 - October 12, 2007 at the Smith Theatre Gallery (Oakland Community College) in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Awards: Best of Show-$400, Purchase Prize-up to $250, President's Award-$150, Honorable Mentions-$100. Juror: Gretchen Otto, MFA, PhD. Accepting recent original works in all media, excluding video and performance, by women artists nationwide. Entry Fee: $25.00. Deadline: August 1, 2007. August 3, 2007 - 11th Annual "Lines into Shapes" Art Competition & Sale
The Art Center of Estes Park (Colorado) announces a call to artists for their 11th Annual "Lines into Shapes" Art Competition & Sale. The exhibit will be on display September 21 thru October 7, 2007. Over $5,000 awarded to top artists. Juror: Cindy Brabac King. Open to all artists. Multi-media art show: oils, scratchboard, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, graphite, printmaking, photography, fiber, jewelry, glass & wood. $12 per entry with maximum of 3 entries. The Richeson School of Art & Gallery: Jack Richeson & Co., Inc. announces a call to artists for the "Richeson 75 International: Landscape & Exteriors", held October 27, 2007 to January 6, 2008 at the Richeson Gallery in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Over $7500 in cash & merchandise awards! $3000 Best in Show; $1000 1st prize and $500 2nd prize in 3 categories: Oil and Oil Pastel: Soft Pastel and Other Dry Media; Water Media and Other (Printmaking, Mixed Media etc). September 4, 2007 - AC 39th Annual National Juried Exhibition
The Palm Springs Art Museum's Artists Council invites submissions for the 39th Annual National Juried Exhibition, Nov. 6th - Dec. 23rd, 2007. Submission deadline is Sept. 4th. The Arkansas Pastel Society announces a call to artists for "Reflections in Pastel", a national exhibition held Nov. 1 - Dec. 2 at the Arkansas Arts Center Community Gallery in Little Rock, AR. Awards: $4000. Juror: Albert Handell. Open to all artists over age 18. Entries must be at least 80% soft or oil pastel, must be original, unpublished, and created within the last 3 years.
