Ongoing: The Grateful Hearts Project offers free 16"x20" portraits to families who have lost loved ones in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts — and is finally off the ground and gaining interest. Families from Missouri and Kansas can apply to receive a portrait. I have three families who have applied, two moms and one widow. "I’ve had two artists apply to do portraits so far. It is very heartwarming to talk with these brave families who have sacrificed so much for their country. Please check my new web site www.JennylynneGragg.com where I will have more posted about this wonderful project. Any artist interested in applying to do a portrait can contact me at graggstudios@sbcglobal.net and I’ll send you a form with the details. Thank you! — Jennylynne Gragg
