Exhibit/Gallery Opportunities

If you know of a gallery accepting new works, a restaurant or coffeehouse which rotates works of artists, a church, office lobby, hospital or any other exhibit venue, please share that with us by contacting the Webmaster.

 

Art in US EmbassiES

Artists can loan works for 2-3 years to U.S. embassies around the world. The Dept. of State covers the costs of pick-up, packaging, shipment, insurance, return, etc. Send resume and a slide sheet of available works to: Art in Embassies Program, U.S. Dept. of State, A/Art Room B 258, Washington, D.C. The Kansas City Public Library, 4 locations in the Kansas City Area

The Kansas City Library is currently looking for artists to display their work in one of four library branch art gallery spaces. In addition to gallery space, the library provides space for an opening reception, printing of invitations for the reception, typing and printing of calendars and program brochures, and coordination of publicity through local newspapers, calendars, web pages and brochures. Dorris Rider Art Gallery, Trenton, Missouri
The Doris Rider Art Gallery is located on the North Central Missouri College campus in Trenton, Missouri. "We are a small but progressive college with a newly developed art department. The gallery space is nice with good lighting. We are eager to find artists who would enjoy showing their work with a group or a one man show."

PRAIRIE POND STUDIO, LAWRENCE, KS - LOOKING FOR ARTISTS
Prairie Pond Studio is open at 809 Massachusetts Street in Lawrence, Kansas. The store specializes in wearable art such as jewelry, silk and hand-dyed clothing, hand-knits, and painted scarves along with exotic animal gifts. The owner, Charlene Schlotzhauer, is wanting to hold monthly exhibits of art. She will be willing to throw a Thursday or Friday night opening reception for the featured artist.
