I like to explore different
kinds of subject matter, at different seasons and use a variety of medium:
oil, watercolor and pastels. My inspiration comes from everyday objects
and situations. All I need is the simplicity of a few objects on a table.
The light that washes over them at different times of the day, constitutes
the only inspiration necessary. Sometimes, when the light strikes something,
and I see the variety of colors and shapes, shadows and patterns, an everyday
object appears extraordinary. I try to capture the ephemeral beauty of
that moment.
