Patty Scarborough received a B.F.A. in Art from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and has continued to work at understanding the nuances and contradictions of what it means to be an artist. In the past decade pastels have been her preferred medium. Scarboroughs work has been accepted into several regional and national art competitions, and her paintings are included in many private and corporate collections in the United States, including the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, NE. She recently ended a 2-year term as President of the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs, a 600-member strong organization of professional and amateur artists. |
